The Edmonton Oilers have signed a 700-game NHL veteran to a professional tryout.

It was recently announced that the Edmonton Oilers have signed Brandon Sutter to a PTO.

Sutter missed the past two seasons with injury but will be looking to make his NHL return in Edmonton.
In Sutter's last active season, he posted 9 goals and 12 points in 43 games. He is known for his defensive capabilities and his faceoff prowess.
He will look to become the Oilers 4th line center if he impresses in training camp.
