The Edmonton Oilers announced a roster move involving one of their first round picks in the last few minutes.

As they prepare to face the Calgary Flames in a new round of the Battle of Alberta, the Oilers announced a roster move involving their 2020 first round pick, Dylan Holloway.


In a statement on X, the organization revealed that the player has been called up from the Oilers' AHL affiliate club, the Bakersfield Condors.

They also shared that James Hamblin was loaned to the Condors.

Holloway was sent down to the AHL to get back in shape after a long-term injury forced him to miss several months.
