Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog is expected to announce the end of his career in the NHL tomorrow in a press conference with GM Chris MacFarland.

It's the day Avalanche fans have been dreading for a longtime, after captain Gabe Landeskog will finally speak to the media after not playing since 2022. Landeskog is expected to speak with the press tomorrow at 9:30 PM alongside GM Chris MacFarland.

Despite their not being much confirmation that he is, it makes sense considering the Swede has not spoken to the media in a while, and he has been out with a long term injury which can signify a retirement announcement on the horizion going into tomorrow's press conference.
Landeskog has played in 738 career games scoring 248 goals and 571 points along the way. He was originally the second overall pick of the Avalanche in 2011 and has been their captain since 2012.
