An all-star and Edmonton native is set to make his return to the NHL as a broadcaster.

Scott Returns To The NHL

John Scott has revealed that he will be returning to the NHL and hockey as a broadcaster for NBC Sports Chicago.

Former #Blackhawks enforcer John Scott says on his podcast that he will be doing Hawks pre & postgame work for @NBCSChicago. He did not say if he'd be there for all 82 games, but he will be part of the coverage

Scott is known for his all-star performance where he was voted as an all-star captain in 2016 and then proceeded to win all-star game MVP.

Scott's NHL career came to an end in 2016 with the Canadiens and Coyotes but he went out on a high note. Throughout his NHL career, he was known as an enforcer scoring 5 total goals and 11 points in 286 career games. He registered 544 PIMs throughout his career.

Scott previously played for the Blackhawks from the 2010-11 season to the 2011-2012. He is a beloved figure in hockey so he will certainly fit right in with the broadcasting team at NBC Sports Chicago.
