Avalanche Add Defenseman In Massive Trade With Philadelphia Flyers

The team went out and acquired defenseman Sean Walker from the Flyers according to reports today. The deal was first reported by Elliotte Friedman.




However, more details about the trade have come out since Friedman's inital reports. According to other sources, the Avalanche are sending a 1st round pick and center Ryan Johansen back to the Flyers in exchange for the 29-year-old blueliner.



According to Kevin Weekes, the 1st round pick may be in 2025. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
