BREAKING: Elliotte Friedman Confirms The Number One Coyotes Relocation Destination

Elliotte Friedman just dropped a new 32 Thoughts Podcast with Jeff Marek and has confirmed some major news.

On the topic of the Arizona Coyotes, Friedman said the following:

Salt Lake City has been rumored as a top destination for a while now but Friedman has gone out and outright confirmed that they are the frontrunners.

They make a lot of sense for a relocation as well. Salt Lake City currently has the Utah Jazz and their stadium could house a capacity of 14,000 at an NHL game.

While this is not a massive number like the Canadiens and is behind many other NHL teams, it is a step up from the Coyotes' current 5,000-seat stadium. The success of the Jazz could likely trickle into the new Utah franchise and could prove that unconventional markets can work but they just need good ownership and a city willing to take them in.
