Carter Hart was released earlier this year by the Flyers due to his involvement in the 2018 Canadian WJC scandal. New rumors indicate he is going to be continuing his hockey career overseas.

After being officially charged by the London Police Department for his role in the awful 2018 Canadian World Junior scandal it was assumed Carter Hart would never play hockey again. He was immediately suspended by the Philadelphia Flyers and then eventually his contract was terminated.
Now new rumors have popped up indicating that Carter Hart could potentially be heading overseas to play professional hockey again. One source on X who has provided useful insider information on the KHL in Russia put out a cryptic post about Carter Hart.

The user on X did not confirm if a deal is potentially close but did eventually expand and give a hint as to which team Carter Hart could be in talks with.

In the replies to this post, the user indicates that he has heard rumblings potentially connecting Carter Hart to the KHL club AK Bars Kazan. Ak Bars Kazan should sound familiar as it is the same one who signed controversial prospect Mitchell Miller when he was released by the Boston Bruins just days after he was signed.
