Jakub Voracek has joined Jaromir Jagr's Kladno team as an assistant coach

Jakub Voracek's new role as an assistant coach for Kladno was announced in a tweet, which you can find here. Voracek's vast experience, with over 1,000 NHL games under his belt, will bring valuable insights to the team.

Jaromir Jagr, now 51 years old, not only owns Kladno but also plays for the team. He's been competing in the Czech League for the past six years and plans to continue next season, showcasing his incredible passion and endurance for hockey.

Voracek wrapped up his playing career last year after a brief stint with the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he played in 11 games and scored one goal with six points. His new role as an assistant coach is an exciting opportunity for him to share his knowledge and skills with the team.

Voracek and Jagr were teammates with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2011-2012 season. Jagr was part of a formidable first line with Claude Giroux and Danny Briere, while Voracek quietly contributed from the second line. After Jagr left, Voracek smoothly transitioned to the first line alongside Giroux.

We will now see if Voracek can impress as a coach in Kladno and eventually work his way back to the NHL as a coach.
