Nikita Kucherov facing possible suspension after hit on Kaiden Guhle

The Tampa Bay Lightning are pushing for a playoff spot at the end of the season. Now they will potentially be without forward Nikita Kucherov for a few games after a nasty hit on Kaiden Guhle.

The hit is clearly to the back and left Kaiden Guhle with an injury that he could not continue in the game. Despite this outcome, Nikita Kucherov was not given a penalty or ejected from the game. Regardless this type of dangerous play likely warrants at least a fine if not a suspension.
