In breaking news, Frederik Anderson's injury status has been confirmed by the team.

Anderson Confirmed Out with Blood Clotting Issue

Frederik Anderson was ruled out earlier this week as he awaited further testing on an undisclosed medical injury. Now, the Carolina Hurricanes have announced that Anderson is suffering from a Blood Clotting issue. He currently has no timeline for return, however, he is expected to make a full recovery.
"During recent medical testing, it was discovered that Frederik Andersen had a blood clotting issue that needed to be addressed. There is currently no timetable for his return, but we are confident that Freddie will be able to make a full recovery."

Anderson has played 6 of the Hurricanes' 12 games so far this year prior to being ruled out.
The #Canes have announced that Frederik Andersen will be out indefinitely due to a blood clotting issue.

Awful news, but General Manager Don Waddell says in a statement that the team is confident he will be able to make a full recovery.
