A young prospect has knocked out one of the best enforcers in the NHL with a brutal hit that sent him to the locker room.

Heineman Knocks Out MacEwen

Last night in a preseason game between the Canadiens and the Senators prospect Emil Heineman laid the boom on Zack MacEwen.
Zack MacEwen gets absolutely bodied by Emil Heineman, and heads right to the locker room

MacEwen went directly to the locker room with an upper-body injury that was likely a product of his collision with the boards following the hit.
The Senators later announced that MacEwen would not be returning to the game.
Injury update: After sustaining respective injuries in the second period, #Sens forwards Tarun Fizer (lower body) and Zack MacEwen (upper body) will not return to tonight's game.

What MacEwen Brings When Healthy

When MacEwen is healthy, he is one of the most notorious enforcers in the league who is willing to drop the gloves with anybody. In 186 games, MacEwen has registered 245 PIMs.
Here he is getting rocked by Zdeno Chara, somebody over half a foot taller than him. A true testament to his willingness to fight anybody.
Here are a few more of his fights:
Hopefully, MacEwen heals up soon and is able to slot into the Senators opening night lineup.
