The Winnipeg Jets have won six of their past nine games, taking them into a three-way tie for top spot in the Central Division, but now they face a massive test in their next matchup.

Matt Rempe to return against the Winnipeg Jets

After being suspended for a hit on Jonas Siegenthaler, the New York Rangers have officially announced the return of young highlight reel forward Matt Rempe.

The New York Rangers have activated C Matt Rempe from his suspension.

The Jets have been playing well as of late, but haven't faced an offensive force like this in quite some time, and with the Rangers being one of the best home teams in the NHL, this may be their biggest challenge of the year. With 15 games left in the season, the Jets find themselves tied with the Stars and Avalanche in the Central, and given how crucial home ice advantage can be, this game is crucial to their 2023-24 campaign.

Players like Logan Stanley and Brenden Dillon will need to be on their game with Rempe looking to come back with a vengeance, but after the first suspension of his career, he may end up finally reeling in his physical style of play.
