Jets Nino Niederreiter selected for World Championship by Switzerland

Today exciting news for Winnipeg Jets fans has been announced. Despite their round-one playoff exit the season still keeps going for one Winnipeg Jet. Reports have confirmed that Nino Niederreiter is going to the World Championships.

Representing your country is an honor for any hockey player especially at an event like the World Championships. This summer that honor has been afforded to Jets forward Nino Niederreiter who will play with Switzerland.

It remains to be seen if Nino Niederreiter who was the captain during his last trip to the World Championships will get that opportunity again.

Nico wore an 'A' last year with Switzerland. I believe it was Nino Niederreiter or who was the captain.

Hischier was captain of the 2022 Worlds for 🇨🇭.

They haven't announced who is wearing letters yet.

Nino Niederreiter joins a roster including other NHL stars such as Nico Hischier, Jonas Siegenthaler, Akira Schmid, and Philipp Kurashev. Of these NHL players Nino Niederreiter likely has the best chance to succeed along with Nico Hischier of the New Jersey Devils.
