The Winnipeg Jets defenseman Brenden Dillon was rushed off the ice last night after a serious injury in game three against the Colorado Avalanche.

At the final whistle, announcing the end of the game, a major brawl emerged involving all players on the ice.
Unfortunately, it led to the Jets' defenseman Brenden Dillon leaving the ice in a hurry, bleeding everywhere.
He was cut by a skate on the hand, an extremely worrying scene for his teammates and fans.

In this video, we can see his injury more clearly:
in his post-game comments, head coach Rick Bowness mentioned that the defenseman was still being evaluated and had no updates on his health yet:
"Rick Bowness says Brenden Dillon is still being examined. No update at this time."

His teammate Josh Morrissey looked shaken up when he talked to the reporters. He commented on Dillon's injury, describing the incident as a scary situation:
"#NHLJets Josh Morrissey was clearly shaken up as he came out to speak with us here in Denver. Asked about Brenden Dillon's injury, he called it a «scary situation»l.»

«We're all really concerned for him and hoping he's OK.»"

Dillon is one of the toughest defensemen on the team, and if someone can bouce back from that injury to return to the playoffs, it's him. However, cuts can take a long time to heal, and his status hasn't been confirmed yet.
Updates and details will follow.
