Horrible scene as Namestnikov was hit in the face by a puck

The Winnipeg Jets night continues to get worse. After pulling goalie Connor Hellebuyck and being down 4-1 the Jets are now facing the loss of a player. Vlad Namestnikov has left today's game after taking a puck to the face.

Midway through the third period tragedy struck for the Winnipeg Jets after forward Vlad Namestnikov was hit in the face with a puck. He immediately fell to the ice with blood leaking from his face.

Scary moment as Vlad Namestnikov is struck in the head by a slap shot and exits the game





Oh this isn't good at all. Vlad Namestnikov takes a slapshot to the head and he is down. There's a lot of concern on the ice here, with officials and players waving for medical help.



While things initially looked incredibly serious Vlad Namestnikov would end up getting back up under his own power. He would then make his way to the locker room with the training staff.

He's slowly trying to get up.

That's a good sign as they help him to the room.
