The matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche was expected to have it all, and in game one, we've seen everything including a controversial goal.
After scoring the go-ahead goal for the Jets to make it 4-3, Winnipeg captain Adam Lowry added another in the third period, but this one certainly didn't come without controversy.
When the officials looked at this one on review, it appeared way too close to call, but after looking at it for a while, they determined that this was a good goal, giving the Jets a 5-3 lead as they have now gone on to make it 6-4 in game one.
After hitting the post three times, it appeared way too close, but the officials believed it was a goal, and even after watching it many times, it's still a hard decision to make. Ultimately though, that was the officials call, and now one of the craziest games in recent Stanley Cup Playoff memory rolls on.
