Winnipeg Jets are currently interested in Anaheim star forward Trevor Zegras

There have been heavy rumors surrounding star forward Trevor Zegras, regarding his status with the Anaheim Ducks. Zegras has been rumored to be on the trade block as of late and there are various teams interested in his services. The Winnipeg Jets are one of the teams rumored interested in the star forward and he may perhaps end up with the team for the players the team is proposing to send back to Anaheim. The Details:

For the Winnipeg Jets, this blockbuster trade would have benefited the teams' speed and agility on-ice with the addition of Zegras. The presence of Zegras would give the top-2 lineups a more polished look on paper and a huge production assist in the statistic board as well. Trevor Zegras would provide ample amounts of offense that would complement the Jets team's needs and area of keen production with nifty plays.

Also, the players going to Anaheim would provide great depth and leadership to play well with the coaching system, including being heavily productive with the current lineup.

The goaltending is picking up and the need now for the ducks is to offload a few more players to acquire a steady depth-based hockey team to complement the pool of young prospects and players in the lineup or on the roster and farm league.
