Today it was announced that former Winnipeg Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson was placed on waivers by the Detroit Red Wings.

Since leaving the Jets after 102 games Michael Hutchinson's career has taken many twists and turns. Hutchinson's NHL journeyman career will take another turn in the coming days. Either he will be claimed and add another new NHL home to his list or he will clear and head to Grand Rapids where he will play in the AHL.
