The Winnipeg Jets played against the Calgary Flames on Thursday night. This was a very important game, it would decide if the Jets would clinch a spot to compete for the Stanley Cup in the 2024 playoffs. The Jets won 5-2, clinching a playoff spot, Toffoli was an important part of this win, scoring a goal and taking six shots on net.

The official NHL Twitter account congratulated the team in a post. The post listed Tyler Toffoli as one of two players on the Jets' roster to have already won a Stanley Cup in their career.

"Tyler Toffoli won the #StanleyCup as a rookie 10 years ago, while Laurent Brossoit eliminated the Jets en route to winning the Cup last year. Will they help guide the @NHLJets to a championship in 2024?" The NHL said.

They added, "NEW FACES HOPE TO FUEL LENGTHY JETS RUN

New faces include Alex Iafallo, Sean Monahan & Stanley Cup champ Tyler Toffoli. Laurent Brossoit has the only other Cup on Winnipeg's roster (last year w/ Vegas)."

Tofolli has had an impressive season, he has played for both the New Jersey Devils and the Winnipeg Jets. Throughout his 73 games played, he has scored 31 goals with 20 assists. He has only gotten 14 penalty minutes.
