Last night the Toronto Maple Leafs went up against the Buffalo Sabres in an Atlantic Division rivalry game. The Maple Leafs found themselves on the wrong side of a blowout and forward Max Domi had a particularly tough night.

After getting into a scrum with Sabres forward Jeff Skinner, the two talked back and forth. Microphones on the ice picked up a brutal chirp from Skinner directed at Domi.




Jeff Skinner is a player much like Domi known for talking trash throughout a game. Last night Skinner had even more ammunition as his team found themselves on the winning side of a blowout.

Maple Leafs Embarrassed In A Blowout Loss

To many Maple Leafs fans and media, last night was the team's worst game of the season. The Maple Leafs fell to the Sabres by a score of 9-4. Both goaltenders had a tough night and many feel the team quit.


The Maple Leafs have been known to have some embarrassing losses in the past. It feels as though they endure one every season. For now, it feels as though that loss is now in the rearview mirror for the Leafs.

They will have to put up a great response in their next game to show this one was just a fluke.
