We've got some sad news from the hockey world. Tony Voce, a former Philadelphia Flyers prospect, has passed away at 43. This was shared on the 'Missin Curfew' podcast.

Tony was a Philadelphia native who shone brightly at Boston College, racking up 167 points in 159 games. In 2004, he signed with the Flyers as an undrafted free agent.
Sad to learn that Tony Voce, former Philadelphia Phantom and Boston College player has passed away at age 43

Voce was born in Philly and was a friend of @larryfknflowers

Rest in Peace Tony 🙏🏻
Most of his career was spent in the minors, including three seasons in the AHL with the Philadelphia Phantoms and Grand Rapids Griffins, where he won the Calder Cup in 2005.
Rest In Peace Tony Voce 🙏 He was a great teammate and an even better person. Sending love and prayers to his family.
Voce later played in Europe, making stops in Germany, Finland, and Austria, before returning to North America in 2009 for a season with the Ontario Reign in the ECHL. He retired at the end of that season.
