Matt Rempe Reveals his Thoughts on Changing Playstyle after Suspension

In Matt Rempe's first 10 games in the NHL, he tallied just 3 points, but it was his physical play that had the whole world talking. Unfortunately, that hot streak came to an end when Matt Rempe hit New Jersey's Jonas Siegenthaler to the head, resulting in a four-game suspension.

That play followed up fights against some of the NHL's heavyweights like Ryan Reaves, Nicoalas Deslaurier and Matt Martin, but the suspension appeared to be a wakeup call for the 21-year old. With that came many concerns about the growing injuries that he was suffering, especially to the head after all these fights.

Now, after being scratched since his return from suspension, the 6-foot-7 giant has addressed everything, including the potential of changing playstyle after the suspension.

It's clear that Rempe is aware enough to know that he needs to tone down going 100% all the time, and while he's going to continue fighting and making a physical impact, he admits that he can't be like that all the time. Now, with the Rangers looking to make a Stanley Cup push, he hopes that he can get back into the lineup and make an impact for this star studded squad with the playoffs right around the corner.
