Both teams have issued a statement indicating the game's rescheduling for Saturday evening.
"The New York Islanders game tonight against the New York Rangers at UBS Arena has been postponed due to flooding and the state of emergency declared by New York State. The game will be made up tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at UBS Arena."
