The Canadiens are making a play for star forward Patrick Kane, and this is going to be a fascinating story to follow until tomorrow. While many were expecting Steven Stamkos, it seems Montreal might land Kane instead.
Kane, the first overall pick in 2007, notched an impressive 47 points in 50 games with the Detroit Red Wings in the 2023-2024 season. He could be a great fit on a line with Nick Suzuki or Kirby Dach.
