With the trade deadline about three weeks away, there is, of course, plenty of talk about who might be on the move and who won't be. A lot of those rumours are swirling around goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury of the Minnesota Wild, and he's now speaking openly about them.
The Wild went into this season with high expectations. It has not worked out. With the trade deadline coming on March 8th, General Manager Bill Guerin will have to decide whether to flip Fleury for assets, or keep him in the lineup in the hopes of reaching the post season. Minnesota is currently three points out of a wild card spot in the Western Conference, so this won't be an easy decision to make.
Fleury has not yet decided whether he'll play next season, saying he will make up his mind once the current season ends. He was recently honoured for playing his 1000th game in the NHL, something he indicated he's happy with, but also happy to put behind him.
