The Edmonton Oilers made a big decision in net for tonight's pivotal game five in Vancouver.

After a big win last tuesday night that tied the series against the Canucks at two, the Oilers confirmed that they'll send the same goaltender between the pipes as the teams will fight to get the lead in the series.
Calvin Pickard will get his second start of the playoffs, following a great performance in game four, where he stopped 19 out of the 21 shots fired at him by the Oilers.
Pickard filled in for Stuart Skinner after the third game of the series and we haven't seen Skinner in a game since then.
Kris Knoblauch was very satisfied of his goalie. He even went as far as saying he looked like he had played 100 playoff games:
"Looked like a guy who had played 100 playoff games."

But he had never been the starting goalie in the playoffs before. At 32 years old, he never got the chance to compete in the playoffs and he sure looks like a guy who wants to make the best out of this opportunity.
After Pickard's win, the coach explained his decision to send him on the ice in a press conference:
"So another thing that gives a coach a lot of confidence is what he sees in practice. When I see a guy battling, looking sharp, and it's easy to, or it's easier to make that decision."

Who would've thought that we'd see a battle between Silovs and Pickard in the second round? Once again, the playoffs are giving fans what they want: a great show.
