The Edmonton Oilers can become the first Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup in 31 years, if they defeat the Florida Panthers in Stanley Final, but they'll have to do it on the road.

Despite this, Edmonton is making its presence felt all the way in Florida.
Explore Edmonton, the city's tourism department, has rented billboards near Amerant Bank Arena to roast Panthers fans. One billboard reads: «The home of 5 cups and 0 rats.»
Hey Panthers, enjoying the view? We brought a taste of the Great White North to the Sunshine State with our digital billboards. 🏒

We've heard about your tradition of tossing rats on the ice (interesting choice), but Edmonton is rat-free & we'd love to keep it that way! 🚫🐀
This cheeky message nods to the Oilers' storied past and subtly jabs at the Florida Panthers' struggles, all while poking fun at the absence of Matthew Tkachuk, a player who stirs mixed feelings among hockey fans.
NEW: Canadian airline WestJet has two chartered planes heading to S. Florida from Edmonton for Stanley Cup Final Game 7.

Both nonstop flights will arrive on Sunday evening. #Oilers #Panthers
It's all part of the fun and rivalry that makes the Stanley Cup Final so exciting. Edmonton's hockey-crazed fans are determined to support their team, with Canadian airlines even chartering special flights from Edmonton to Florida, and not afraid to take them over.

This could lead to a near-even crowd in the stands for Game 7.
Though the billboards were put up at the start of the series, they've only recently gone viral. NHL writer Dan Rosen spotted one on his way into the arena, and fans have been loving the playful banter between the two cities.

The Oilers' journey to this point has been nothing short of historic. After going down 3-0, their chances looked slim, but they've battled back to force a Game 7. Now, they're focused on completing the comeback and winning the first Stanley Cup of the Connor McDavid era.
Edmonton is buzzing with anticipation, and fans everywhere are eager to see if the Oilers can make history. Tomorrow night's game in Florida is sure to be a nail-biter.
