The  Edmonton Oilers and Sportsnet are extending their partnership for at least eleven more seasons.

The Western Conference champion and Stanley Cup Finalist, Edmonton Oilers have inked a new deal with Rogers Sports & Media to keep their games on Sportsnet until 2035.

This 11-year agreement continues a partnership that's lasted over 25 years, ensuring Oilers hockey stays on Sportsnet.

It was a no-brainer for the team, as the network is the national broadcast partner of the NHL in Canada. They also recently struck a deal with Amazon Prime Video to stream Monday night NHL games in Canada.

We're excited to announce a new agreement for Canada's number one sports network to continue as the exclusive #Oilers regional broadcast partner for 11 more seasons!

Canadian fans can catch the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Oilers and Florida Panthers on Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, and CBC starting Saturday, June 8. Sportsnet holds NHL broadcast rights through the 2025-26 season, and Rogers Communications is expected to seek a renewal.
Rogers CEO Tony Staffieri mentioned that the company plans to join the renewal talks, though it's unclear if they'll go for another exclusive deal or look to partner with a streaming service.
