Not a lot of players don't follow their own team on Instagram. Usually, when a player isn't following their organization, it means that the end of their association is coming.

We recently learned that Campbell has officially unfollowed the Oilers on Instagram.

Check it out:

"Jack Campbell is no longer following Oilers on instagram ....

Goalie trade incoming?

Edmonton Oilers to Finally Trade Away Goaltender Jack Campbell?

There's been a lot of trade rumors surrounding the Edmonton Oilers, especially in the goalie area.

With Stuart Skinner player very well lately, we didn't hear a lot about it. Campbell, who's still in the AHL, is very much available on the market.

While fans would love to see him gone from the team, this doesn't mean that a trade is coming.

Campbell's contract and performances won't convince any NHL teams to get him. If his association with the Oilers is ending, it'll likely be because Ken Holland deided to buy off his contract.

There's also the possibility that Campbell simply didn't want to watch his friends and former teammates with the Oilers on his phone every time he looked at Instagram.

Do you think Campbell will remain with the Oilers for the rest of his contract, which ends in 2027?

More to come.
