When you think of Canadian hardcore fanbases, you think of the Montreal Canadiens or the Vancouver Canucks, however the Edmonton Oilers have been showcased as a beyon hardcore fanbase last night after an insane video was posted of a fan who almost injured himself in the celebration.
The Edmonton Oilers convincingly destroyed the LA Kings in game 3 of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion winning 6-1. It was the Connor McDavid and the Zach Hyman show, as the duo had another multi point night with three points apiece.
After the game, an Edmonton Oilers fan was seen on video being dared by his girlfriend to perform a backflip after the Oilers victory. In the video you can see him botch the move and almost getting injured by breaking his neck in the process of doing it!
If fans keep doing things like that, they may not even be able to watch another hockey game so it is important to be cautious when celebrating your team's victory, lets try and do it safely.
