What is going on with both key pieces of the Edmonton Oilers

Defenseman Darnell Nurse is the backbone of the Oiler's defense system and depth to the team itself. He has somewhat been the brunt of media talks at times due to his production, relating to his salary.
But, has come clutch for the Oiler's team during crucial moments on-ice with his modest playmaking skills and scoring touch from a defenseman's perspective.
Evander Kane, however, is a forward that provides ample amounts of talent to the team. He has impeccable league-leading in the hits section and brings forth toughness with physicality, which complements his grittiness.
Playing on the top-six in the lineup roster for the Edmonton Oilers, he is a prime depth player for the team, and the club admires his scoring prowess, where he does come clutch. With the team working with the coaching staff and helping each other improve on-ice.
