The Dallas Stars have grown to become a genuine contender in recent years, and the majority of that is on the back of their young core, led by Jason Robertson, Jake Oettinger and the underrated Roope Hintz.
While Oettinger and Robertson get all the headlines, Hintz has consistently improved every year in the NHL thus far, and he's now become a massive part of this Stars offence.
In the past two years, Hintz has scored 72 and 75 points, and with the 26-year old now taking on more responsibility, he will only continue to grow as a leader within this team.
As a native of Finland, Hintz has to undergo mandatory service in the Finnish military, much like Lauri Markannen of the NBA, and now, it appears Hintz' time has come.
After successfully putting it off this summer, it appears next off-season will be the one for the 26-year old Hintz, so he will look to take a major jump this season before next off-season is interrupted.
