Insider Elliotte Friedman announced on Saturday afternoon that the Colorado Avalanche placed a surprising player on waivers.
NHL Waivers: Fredrik Olofsson, the 27-Year-Old Forward Placed On Waivers By The Colorado Avalanche
In a new post on X, we learned that Fredrik Olofsson was placed on waivers by the Colorado Avalanche.
The forward from Sweden played 83 games in the NHL for the Avs and the Dallas Stars. He was drafted in 2014 by the Chicago Blackhawks at the fourth round. In 55 games this season, with the Avalanche, he scored nine points in 55 games.
