Rasmus Dahlin delivered a crushing hit to the Bruins captain and notable NHL instigator Brad Marchand during their game last night. The hit occurred right at the blue line, where Dahlin delivered a reverse-style body check that flattened Marchand to the ice.
Today, PK Subban took to social media to share his love for the big hit.
The hit resulted in a scrum after the fact, however, no player really dropped the gloves with Dahlin as it was borderline as to whether it was clean or not.
PK Subban Delivered the Exact Same Hit To Marchand During His Time With the Canadiens
Subban was noted during his playing days for his well-rounded toolkit, being both an offensive defenseman and while still delivering the boom occasionally. Famously, Subban had one of the biggest hits of his career on Brad Marchand as well, in a very similar fashion.
