During the Jets game last night, this star defender was forced to leave the game bloodied after a scary incident that saw him take a puck to the face.

The NHL is a tough league to play in and requires players to put their bodies on the line every night, and that was no exception last night for Winnipeg Jets' defender Josh Morrissey.

During the game last night, Morrissey took a shot from Nick Suzuki directly to the face, leaving him bloodied and forced to leave the game.

The gruesome injury left a lot of blood on the ice, however, Morrissey was able to return to play after some serious repairs in the locker room.

Jets Fall in Overtime to the Canadiens



While Morrisey and the Jets were able to battle in the third period to score the game-tying goal against the Canadiens last night, they ultimately fell short in overtime, losing the game 3-2 after Justin Barron scored the winner in OT on a powerplay.
