Earlier tonight, Ryan Reaves from the Toronto Maple Leafs went head-to-head with Nick Deslauriers of the Philadelphia Flyers, and let's just say, things got intense. Reaves, known as one of the toughest players in the game, surprisingly seemed to come out on the losing end of the scuffle. Not something you see every day!

Hockey Drama: Ryan Reaves' Injury Scare

Yet the plot thickens... Shortly after the tussle, Reaves had to leave the game and head straight to the Leafs locker room. Word on the street is that Deslauriers might have accidentally poked Reaves in the eye during the brawl. An eye poke in a hockey fight! Check out the replay if you don't believe it. Looks like it was accidental, but still, it's not something you see every day.

As the game between the Flyers and Leafs heads towards the end of the second period, Reaves is still nowhere to be seen on the ice. His absence is a big blow for the Leafs, especially considering how he's been stepping up his game lately. Losing him right before the playoffs, that hurts. Here's hoping Reaves bounces back soon, because the Leafs need him now more than ever!
