Wild Rookie, Hunt, Knocked Out After High Hit

In a spine-chilling incident during the second period of the Minnesota Wild's recent game against the Colorado Avalanche, 2020 draft pick Daemon Hunt found himself on the receiving end of a high hit, leaving spectators in shock.

Hunt, a promising rookie defenseman for the Minnesota Wild, was engaged in pursuit of an attacking player behind his own net when he encountered Tanner Kero of the Avalanche. In an unfortunate collision, Kero's contact with Hunt sent the young defenseman into a dizzying spin, rendering him unconscious.

Thankfully, Hunt displayed remarkable resilience as he managed to skate off the ice under his own power. Nevertheless, the severity of his injury remains a cause for concern. It's worth noting that this collision appeared to be more of an accidental encounter, with little indication of malicious intent, as both Hunt and Kero were moving in opposite directions at the time of the collision.

As of now, there is no official update on Daemon Hunt's condition. However, it is anticipated that he will be sidelined for several upcoming games due to the consequences of this unfortunate hit.
