Connor Bedard has been touted as the next great player for the NHL, and a face of the franchise. While he has lived up to expectations offensively, scoring 7 points in 11 games, he hasn't quite hit his stride defensively in the NHL.

He is still learning exactly what he can and can't get away with in the NHL that he could in Junior hockey. However, this worries some fans, as they think he is being too fancy, and that is leading to poor defensive play.
