The Boston Bruins' star forward David Pastrnak looked injured after he got hit by the referee Chris Rooney in the first matchup of the series against the Panthers.

In Florida, things didn't go too well for the Panthers. Even if the team was well rested and the Bruins were coming out of a seven-games series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins were stronger and faster on the ice.
They ended up winning 5-1, despite big efforts from goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.
Unfortunately for the Bruins, there could be some bad news related to David Pastrnak.
During the game, he entered in a violent collision with the refereee Chris Rooney, as he was skating near the boards to get to the puck.
He fell on the ice and stayed there for a few seconds, looking at the referee.
Watch the whole scene here:
Later, during a break, Rooney skated at the Bruins' bench and checked on Pastrnak, showing that the hit was accidental.
"Rooney skated right up to Pasta on bench during next stoppage to check on him"

He was able to finish the game despite the hit and ended up scoring an assist on the Bruins' first goal of the game, thanks to Morgan Geekie's great effort.
It'll be interesting to see if the Bruins can maintain that energy and if the Panthers will bounce back from that tough loss in game 2.
More to come.
