The Winnipeg Jets are off to a solid start this season with a 4-3-0 start to the season, but unfortunately, they've been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Lack of attendance

Recently, the Jets saw their lowest attended game since their return to Winnipeg, and with talks of expansion all around the league, this has many questioning their future in Canada.

Over the past few years, we've seen their attendance at a solid number, especially with their playoff appearances, but now, their fans are being called out by seemingly everyone.

A former NHLer

On the latest episode of the Spittin Chiclets podcast, former NHLer Paul Bissonette expressed his disappointment with Winnipeg, citing their 30,000+ attendance at a recent CFL Blue Bombers game as a reason why they should be able to fill 16,000 seats at a Jets game.

Ultimately, like they addressed, there's many reasons why the attendance could be failing from the teams lack of playoff success to the economy in Canada and even the bad weather and location of the arena, but one thing is for sure, unless Jets fans get back into the arena, the calls for relocation could grow louder and louder.
