The Brantford Bulldogs and the Peterborough Petes got themselves into a whole heap of trouble last Saturday as a benches-clearing brawl erupted at the end of the game.

Suspensions And Fines Handed Out Following Brawl

After Saturday's game ended in overtime, both benches cleared as tensions flared and fists started flying. Both teams were fined and several players earned multiple-game suspensions as a result of the debauchery.
Events from earlier in the game may have helped create the conditions for the brawl to take place as Bulldogs defenseman Cedricson Okitundo was given a match penalty for cross-checking in the first period. He would get a three-game suspension for the play in addition to the match penalty.
Petes defenseman Konnor Smith and Bulldogs defenseman Noah Roberts seemed to be at the forefront of the action as they got into a heated altercation that ended with a fight after things had begun to settle down. Both players received a suspension for their role in the brawl. In total, a whooping eleven games worth of suspensions and three thousand dollars worth of fines were handed out for actions that took place during this game.
