Some tough news for the Vancouver Canucks as it appears they will be losing a defenseman.

Poolman's Career Over?

According to a new report Tucker Poolman will not be hitting the ice anytime soon. Poolman was limited to just three games in the 2022-23 season.

Canucks Insider Rick Dhaliwal just reported that Poolman will not be at training camp which is set to open up later this month. He is expected to be on the long-term injury reserve to start the season.

What Happened to Poolman?

The 30-year-old defenseman had shoulder surgery the cause of the injury is unknown but the main cause of Poolman missing time is a concussion.

Poolman sustained a concussion and has been dealing with long lasting migraines from it and has not been cleared to return to action until the migraines disappear.

Despite hockey gear getting better it looks like concussions have ended another players career.

Poolman does wish to continue to play however his health must improve in order for him to play another game.
