Connor McDavid is so quick he even heals quicker. After he suffered an injury against the Winnipeg Jets last week it was reported that he would be out one to two weeks and would certainly be missing the Heritage Classic tomorrow night. However, things may have changed since then as McDavid was seen as a full participant in practice today ahead of the outdoor game.
The Oilers have been struggling much more than anyone could have predicted so for this season. Their 1-5-1 record puts them just two points ahead of the league-worst 0-7-1 San Jose Sharks in the pacific division. In a reversal from the norm, the team is struggling to score goals with just 17 through 7 games. Defensively, the team has been a nightmare, particularly in goal as they have given up over four goals per game and both Skinner and Campbell are currently boasting terrible statistics.
