Netflix documentary in the works about Lundqvist‘s open heart surgery

Netflix is officially working on a documentary about Henrik Lundqvist‘s open heart sugery that he went through in 2020.

In that summer, the legendary New York Rangers' goalie signed a one-year deal with the Washington Capitals, but was forced to hang up the pads after an aortic valve replacement surgery.
In a new development, we learned that Netflix will release a documentary about Lundqvist's surgery, which will be called "Open Heart", and will be out in May.
""Open Heart," a documentary focused on Henrik Lundqvist's time with the Capitals, will debut on Netflix in May.

The doc goes behind the scenes of Lundqvist's heart surgery and attempted comeback with the Caps."

Not only Rangers or Capitals fans will enjoy this documentary, but hockey fans in general. Getting insights into the life of one of the best goaltenders in NHL's history doesn't happen often. "Open Heart" promises to be an interesting and emotional glimpse into Lundqvist's journey.
