Ryan Reaves Drops the Mitts for the First Time as a Leaf with Arber Xhekaj

Ryan Reaves was brought to Toronto in order to add some grit and toughness to the team, and it didn't take long for him to show it. In one of his first few shifts with his new team, he dropped the gloves with Montreal's young tough guy Arber Xhejaj.

It's safe to say Reaves was ready to take on the tough guy role tonight, as he didn't shy away from giving a flex during his on-ice introduction. His comments during training camp have also been geared toward making sure everyone knows that he will be protecting his teammates this season.
