The Winnipeg Jets have added a high-upside prospect to their prospect camp roster.

Jets Add McClennon

The Winnipeg Jets just announced that they have added forward Connor McClennon to their prospect camp roster.

YOUNG STARS: The #NHLJets have added F - Connor McClennon to the roster for the Young Stars tournament.

McClennon played with the Winnipeg Ice of the WHL last year scoring 92 points in 64, finishing third in team scoring behind only Zach Benson (2023 13th overall pick) and Matthew Savoie (2022 9th overall pick). It should be noted that McClennon finished ahead of 2022 11th overall pick Conor Geekie in scoring.

McClennon was originally a pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2020 but remained unsigned. He will likely have a long road to the NHL at only 5'8" and 163lbs but if he is able to put on some weight, he could eventually make the NHL with his high-octane offense.

McClennon is currently under contract with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL but if he impresses enough, he could become a Jet soon.

Here are some McClennon highlights:
