The Maple Leafs have built a solid offensive group at the NHL level, and with some talented prospects coming through, this is a team that can no doubt compete for a Stanley Cup.
Their top prospect is forward Matthew Knies, and while he's only played three regular-season games at the top level, he's shown plenty of all-around promise, becoming a key piece of the team's future.
Now, it appears he's expanding his portfolio off the ice as well, as he has now officially signed with a T.J. Oshie founded company.
It has been announced that Knies has signed with Warroad Hockey, a company started by the Washington Capitals star Oshie, and as they got Knies early, they appear confident in his ability to take a massive leap in 2023-24.
While they aren't on the level of Bauer, CCM, Sherwood, or others, they're on the rise, and if Knies becomes a star with the company, there's no doubt that he could play a big role in their development going forward.
