A major move has been made by a player who is expected to be one of the bigger names in next year's NHL draft. Cole Eiserman, who had committed to the NCAA's Minnesota Golden Gophers, has decided to leave the team after just one year.

The Move
After some speculation over where he would end up, Eiserman himself announced he had committed to Boston University in his home state. It also makes him teammates with Macklin Celebrini, another top name in the 2024 NHL draft.
As it stands right now, TSN's Bob McKenzie has Eiserman projected to be the number two pick next year. He's right behind Celebrini, who McKenzie believes will go first overall.
