Player to be Punished for Breaking Referee's Arm

Swedish player breaks referee's arm

In one of the most surprising moments in hockey, a player in the Swedish player landed a solid hit on a referee during a game and ended up breaking the referee's arm in the process.


Casper Gillberg is the player who hit the referee and as you can see in the video, there is no plausible way he can explain that play.

The player was suspended earlier this year

Gillberg has already served a nine-game suspension earlier this season for an illegal check to the head. The league will take this matter seriously and levy the right punishment for the player.
