Pierre-Luc Dubois has long been an intriguing NHL player, as he has struggled to make it work in both Columbus and Winnipeg, but now he's on his third team, and it's becoming very, very clear who the problem is.
For the entirety of his career, there's been questions around the will, the desire and the effort of Dubois, and while talent has got him by this far, it appears his new Coach is finding him frustrating.
This past summer, the Kings gave up a haul, with the trio of Rasmus Kupari, Alex Iafallo and Gabe Vilardi heading to Winnipeg in the deal, and after posting just 19 points in 44 games, it's safe to say that the Kings may regret the deal.
It's certainly tough to blame all of the Kings recent struggles on Dubois, but they believed in the trade they were getting a top-six player that could be a major difference maker, and Kings fans seem fed up.
Dubois is locked in for the next seven years with a cap hit of $8.5 million per year, so there's time to turn things around, but for now, it's not looking good with Dubois.
